Financial Support

Currently all graduate students enrolled in the department receive full financial assistance. Over 50% of our current graduate students have research assistantships. The remaining students are supported with fellowships/scholarships. Support is designated for minority/underrepresented students.

Students are supported by one of several mechanisms including:

1. training grants
2. research assistantships via research grants
3. scholarships
4. fellowships
5. teaching assistantships
