What is Education?

Education as defined by Google is "the process of recieving or giving systematic instruction, especially at a school or univeristy. The theory and practice of teaching," and "an enlightening experience."

The mission of OSU's College of Education is "to develop mulit-culturally competent researchers, scholars, learning leaders and practitioners who make a difference by promoting innovation, social justice, and lifelong learning with a focus on STEM and cultural and linguistic diversity. Our research and professional preparation fosters scholarship, intellectual stimulation, openness, flexibility, and a sense of community.
