Undergraduate Programs

**Language scores must be less than two years old as of the start term requested.

Undergraduate Pathway Progression Criteria
In order to successfully complete a Pathway program and progress to a degree-seeking program, students must meet the following criteria:

• 2.25 GPA in the Pathway program
• No Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory (S/U) graded courses in OSU academic coursework
• All Undergraduate Pathway students must have a grade of C- or higher in English Composition (WR 121), Math (MTH 111 or higher) and Communication (COMM 111 or higher) 

Conditional Admission - Available for Direct Undergraduate and Pathway Programs
Students who are unable to provide an English language score or whose score is lower than the requirement will be offered Academic English followed by Conditional Admission. Students who successfully complete level 4 in Academic English with minimum grades of C in graded classes and P (pass) in all Pass/No Pass classes will study a combination of credit-bearing Academic English courses and academic content courses.

International Transfer
Transers from a recognized university OUTSIDE the US must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or equivalent and be eligible to return to the most recent institution attended.

Transfers from a regionally accredited institution INSIDE the US must have a cumulative GPA of 2.25, meet OSU’s Math and Writing requirements for transfer students (if you have earned 36 or more transferrable credits) and be eligible to return to the most recent institution attended. 

Postbaccalaureate Admission
The requirements are mostly the same as for direct-admit students (click here for specific requirements), but the college you're applying to will make the final admission decision. English language requirements are a TOEFL of 80 or higher with a minimum subscore of 16 in each section, or an IELTS of 6.5. Conditional Admission with low or no TOEFL/IELTS score is not possible. Extended Admission
Students who do not meet the entry requirements for the program to which they're applying can petition for extended admission. After supplying the required documents, the student's admission decision will be reviewed by the university's Undergraduate Admissions Committee for an exception. Click here to view details and requirements.

Graduate Programs

MBA Admission Requirements

• A four-year undergraduate degree from a reionally-accredited college or university and a combined GPA of 3.0 on the last 90 quarter (60 semester) credit hours of graded coursework toward the first undergraduate degree plus all work completed thereafter,
  -OR-
  A four-year undergraduate degree from a regionally-accredited college or university and a 45 quarter credit hour graduate degree from a regionally-accredited university. 
• GMAT - Graduate Management Admission Test
  500 minimum score with verbal, quantitative and analytical writing sub-scores in at least the 20th percentile
• TOEFL 91 iBT (575 PBT) with a minimum of 22 on all iBT subscores 

  -OR- 
  IELTS score of 7 or higher 
  Conditional admission is not available for the MBA program. Students must meet the language requirement.

MBA Graduate Pathway Progression Criteria

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 for the last 90 quarter credits (60 semester credits). This includes all coursework completed within the Pathway.
• Completion of Pathway with minimum GPA of 3.0 and grades of C- or higher in all coursework 

  Note: A grade of B- or better is required in all Pathway courses to progress to the nine-month MBA program.
• GPA of 3.0 in all BA classes during your Pathway program
• TOEFL 91 iBT (575 PBT) with a minimum of 22 on all iBT subscores 

  -OR-
  IELTS score of 7 or higher
• GMAT - Minimum 500 overall score with minimum percentiles of 20 in verbal, quantitative and integrated reasoning sections, and a minimum analytical writing score of 4.
• Statement of objective
• Current resume or vita
• Three letters of recommendation

MEng Graduate Pathway Progression Criteria

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 in the Pathway program and in the last year of the undergraduate degree
• A grade of B or higher in all English language classes during a Pathway program
  -OR-
  iBT TOEFL score of 91 or higher with minimum subscores of 18 (575 pBT TOEFL)
• A grade of C or higher in all Pathway classes
• GRE score of 1100 (301 revised) or higher, with a minimum score of 400 (146 revised) in the verbal section
